Michigan will want to lead the way, why should Cal/Ill And the Big Apple get all the glory? We've got one of the highest unemployment rates in the country. May as well be the highest paying consumers of fuel too!

Like many things, unfortunately I figure those prices will work their way north from Cali to Washington. Uggh!! Time to look at riding the bus!

This link doesn't work. California is the first state, my guess is Hawaii will be next.

For the many folks who like to mock and denigrate California (or Los Angeles), here's a friendly reminder:
California leads the way. What hurts California now, will hurt the rest of the country thereafter.
We're all in the same boat.

CTV national news tonight said that here in Ontario Canada we'd hit $1.47 per litre by the end of April :(

did search and no such story found for regular but did find the following clip. ny times certainly didn't have it.
Prices rise above $5 for a gallon of premium gas at a Shell station at Olympic Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue in Los Angeles, California February 21, 2012. Wholesale gasoline traded 13 cents higher in the Los Angeles market on Tuesday due to a Friday fire that idled BP Plc's Cherry Point, Washington, refinery.
