Hired an attorney who handles traffic tickets to get the speeding ticket (10 miles over the limit), which would have been a 2 point moving violation) reduced to a non moving violation (a zero point violation). Although the violation was reduced I still had to pay the speeding fine.

Does anyone know how much the fine is for driving a vehicle without the annual inspection sticker on it? We are talking about the fine in New Brunswick, Canada.
Thanks,
Mike

I went to court and won, together with 5 of 6 drivers charged with the same offense.
The first driver pre-paid and thus was adjudged guilty.

Hired an attorney for $50.00, who had gotten the speeding ticket (19 miles over the limit, which would have been a 4 point moving violation) "reduced" to a parking meter violation (a zero point, non-moving violation). Although the violation was "reduced" the fine amount remained the same.

I pleaded not guilty to my ticket. I never let the cops to be judge and jury on the side of the road. Also I never admit my guilt to the cop, and always ask why he pulled me over right before he introduces himself. Remember, you're on TV!! I always take notes of their badge number and name, take note of the event when it happened, etc. The charges were dismissed by the Judge because of the lack of evidence of speeding. Also, it cost aprrox $3000 to the tax payers per trial over a $250 ticket! Sometimes the Crown will dismiss the ticket before trial.

So, get a ticket attorney and paid the $99 to have them get the ticket dismissed! No points, no ticket and no penalty and NO DRIVING SCHOOL! Best $99 you will ever spend, but then, I'm in FL so your costs may vary...

Never had a traffic ticket in 50+ years of driving. But I did pay the two parking tickets I got in those years. (Both in California - go figure.)

The last ticket I got was for a seat-belt violation. I could not argue it, as the officer was correct (I had it on, then had to go back to the house to get something and forgot to put it on again). I was actually complimented by the officer for being so "nice" about it, to which I replied "it is the law, and I was not abiding by it, so why argue?" (at that time it was $165.00 fine) I take my "professional driver" status seriously.
