Been thinking about you a lot these day. Hope all is well. Looks as if hubby's cancer is back, not good this time. I don't mean that it is ever good, but we've been able to beat it before. It's in his lungs now. How's Johnny?

Mal, I do believe I've got it. Can't prove it yet, but I'll bet I wil: The phrase "Scratch Gravel, White Wind!" PROBABLY originated in a comic book about a character called "Golden Arrow." Got little evidence so far, but the hero did ride a white horse, and I've found an archive of the comics. MAYBE! Remember Jim Nabors' "Shazam!"? Jim and I grew up in Sylacauga, AL, and that was the cry of one of our heroes whenever he wanted to change from regular dood to superhero....name was Captain Marvel. I love being able to remember all that stuff from so long ago. For one thing, it probably means no Alzheimers for me . Good deal! Be well and happy, my friend.

Well, SHIITE, Mal, I missed your birthday! Hope you had a HAPPY! I just stopped by because I went to the doctor this morning and they checked my BP and my pacemaker and told me I'm still alive, so I just wondered if you are. LOL
